Born and bred in Austin, Texas, I am a first-generation African American with a passion for music. The late ’80s and early ’90s witnessed the explosive rise of Hip-hop, and I was right there, immersed in its beats and rhythms. From coast to coast, each region contributed to shaping my sound, but it was the Hip-hop mecca, New York, that truly left its mark.
